Program Description

EXPERIENCE-BASED ACADEMICS

Students will earn 30 transferable undergraduate credits. Camp is the classroom with typical classroom instruction, special guest teachers/professionals, and field experience through our Shepherds Camp Program, Guest Group Services, and The James Project.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION & GROWTH

Arrowhead full time staff and trusted ministry leaders will provide discipleship and mentoring – formal and informal, intensive and occasional – both inside and outside of the Gap Program. Students will also be equipped and challenged to engage in discipleship and mentoring as part of their own formation and growth.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Each student will be equipped to pursue God’s leading (His desire) and direction (His Will) with our unique ministry as the catalyst for learning, growing, and succeeding.

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

Students will fulfill a variety of roles engaged with guest groups, work groups, James Project groups, Shepherds Camp programming, non-profit management, and ministry; experiencing volunteer training & mobilization, team dynamics, guest services, counseling, organizational leadership, business management, administrative skills, recruiting, development, marketing, and more.
