Many gap year programs have work study options that help reduce (or eliminate) the program cost for participants. In most cases, they do not require previous experience, but it helps for them to know about your employment background.

All CGYA member programs are committed to discipleship as a key outcome. Your thoughtful input in this section will help them understand where you are in your journey and how they can invest in the path God has you on.

CGYA member programs span a range of ministry environments that serve a variety of people and purposes. In most cases, the following questions are key to ensuring the integrity of their mission and the safety of their community. In some cases, due to the nature of the ministry, you may also need to submit to a background check.

Connect us with some key people in your world… a church reference and character reference (non-family members) who can best attest to your Christian character and work ethic.

It is essential for every partner program to ensure they can reasonably provide a safe environment and opportunity for all program participants.
